Classic Californian Surfstyle
Back when I went to school in the late eighties in Los Angeles California, everybody was into boogieboarding, skating and surfing... Most of the designs back then, no matter if they were done for Pepsi, Coke, Skatebrands or Clothing Apparel were heavily influenced by swingy surfstyle aesthetics. Back then I did not yet realize how much this would influence me later in my feeling about whats pretty and what not. I thought about these designstyles for very long, and after them coming back to my mind, I decided to give it a try on the wall. It came out cool, is kinda flashy because of the heavy contrast to the chrome in the back.

Painting with the Legend - Amok 156

SNAPone TRECE - What a big honor to be painting alongside the legendary Berlin Stylemaster AMOK 156 and my brother Saet62 !!

Painting with one of the original Berlin Legends
AMOK 156 is about "the" most well known and most legendary Berlin Stylewriter from back in the 80`s.
He was shaping the Berlin styles and definitions of styles for many years.....
Back when he was painting the famous Bundesplatz Hall of Fame with other legendary writers like Jay1, Rose, Shek and many many others, he was always an inspiration and was looked up to.
I remember days standing in front of his pieces at Bundesplatz wondering how he was able to accomplish that.
Admiration and massive respect was always the main thing, thinking about him.
And years later in Computerschool, I found out that he is a very very lovely, nice and down-to-earth guy, really polite, a shy and respectful, lovely person.
Therefore it was a very big HONOR to get the chance to paint aside him.
